Kyriaki (Kakia) Tzemou serves as General Counsel of Prodea Investments, a leading listed real estate investment company in Greece. A member of the Athens Bar Association with rights of audience before the Supreme Court of Greece, she brings more than 30 years of experience as in-house counsel and external legal adviser to financial institutions and other regulated businesses.

She holds a law degree from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, as well as an International Diploma in Governance, Risk and Compliance awarded by the International Compliance Association in association with Alliance Manchester Business School, University of Manchester. She is also a certified Compliance Officer and Anti-Money Laundering Officer.

Her practice spans corporate, commercial and civil law, financing transactions, real estate investment, financial and operating leasing, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, debt restructuring, insolvency and commercial dispute resolution. She has also contributed to legislative committees involved in shaping the Greek regulatory framework for leasing, factoring, venture capital and real estate investment companies.

Prior to joining PRODEA Investments, she served as Deputy General Manager and Head of Legal at NBG Leasing, while also acting as Deputy Compliance and AML Officer. Earlier in her career, she held legal advisory roles at Ethniki Kefalaiou, BNP Paribas and Ethniki Stegastiki Bank.
