Katerina Papageorgiou is the head of legal and compliance for the Greek operations of world-renowned financial services institution Deutsche Bank. Appointed to her role in April 2012, she has approximately six years of experience at the company and currently advises on a number of legal and compliance challenges the company faces, which include the various measures at a national and EU level intended to bolster the strength of Greece’s financial system.

She joined Deutsche Bank after spending almost a decade at Eurobank Greece as a legal counsel, further proving her experience and expertise in financial legal matters in the country. Papageorgiou’s first exposure to the Deutsche Bank business came at the start of her career, she spent almost three years in the Bank’s London office as a legal counsel between 2000 and 2003.
