Career biography

She graduated in Law from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM), magna cum laude, and holds three Master’s degrees: in Business Law and Economic Legislation from PUCMM; International Business and Foreign Trade from the University of Barcelona, Spain; and Real Estate and Land Registry Law from UNIBE.

She has more than 15 years of experience in corporate legal matters within the financial sector, developing extensive expertise in real estate, contractual and fiduciary matters. From March 2013 to December 2024, she served as Legal and Regulatory Compliance Manager at Fiduciaria Popular, S.A. She currently holds the position of Legal and Regulatory Compliance Division Manager at the organisation.

In her role, she provides legal support in relation to trusts administered by Fiduciaria Popular and is responsible for drafting and structuring the organisation’s various legal instruments in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. She also contributes to the continuous enhancement of the company’s corporate governance practices, ensuring the establishment of appropriate governance principles and standards, the effective administration of decision-making bodies and transparency in the disclosure of information.

Her key achievements include establishing and leading the legal team; creating and implementing institutional roles, policies and processes; digitalising the compensation request process; automating fiduciary onboarding and introducing digital signatures for contracts. Her professional achievements have also been recognised through the Department of the Year Award 2022 and a Management Distinction in 2023, while her work has contributed to the organisation achieving Gold Certification for Compliance with Service Standards.
