What are the most significant cases, projects, or transactions that you and your legal team have recently been involved in?

Gildan Activewear Inc. and HanesBrands Inc. completed their merger on 1 December 2025. As a result of the transaction, Gildan became the successor entity to HanesBrands.

How do you approach managing legal aspects during periods of instability or crisis to ensure the organisation’s resilience?

I approach the legal aspects of a crisis by balancing legal compliance with the needs of the business. Even during periods of instability, I believe lawyers must remain flexible, pragmatic and solutions-focused, while always operating within the boundaries of the law.

At the same time, I make it a priority to give the organisation’s leadership confidence that legal risks are fully understood and effectively managed. By providing clear, timely and practical advice, I enable leadership to focus on navigating the crisis and strengthening the organisation’s resilience.
