Gabriela Bergantino is the legal director, Latam at MPC Capital, manager and co-investor for real asset investments focusing on real estate, renewable energy, and shipping. Gabriela manages the renewable energy segment of the business. With over seven years of experience in the renewable energy sector and M&A sector, Gabriela joined MPC in 2019.

She is responsible for all related legal matters of the projects, including corporate governance, drafting and negotiation of a various range of agreements, including SPA, SHA, financing documents, EPCs, O&Ms. She provides legal advice to the management, identifying the legal risks in the different projects and jurisdictions, while providing mitigation measures in this regard.

She is a member of the Panamanian Lawyer Association and the Women Directors Association of Panama (“Asociación de Directoras de Panamá”). She participates as a board member in several of the companies of the MPC group. Previously she worked in the financing sector, in Bladex, a Panamanian bank listed in the New York Stock Exchange.

Gabriela holds a LL.M. in Law and the Global Economy, from New York University School of Law (NYU) and a LL.M. in Corporate and Financial Services Law from National University of Singapore (NUS).
