Position
Rahul practises across all of Selborne Chambers’ specialisms with a particular interest in commercial chancery litigation, civil fraud, trusts and cross-border disputes.
Before coming to the Bar, Rahul practised as a solicitor at Slaughter and May in London and at King & Wood Mallesons in Sydney. He also worked as a judicial assistant to the Chief Judge in the Supreme Court of New South Wales (Equity Division) and taught contract and tort law as a Casual Academic at the University of Sydney. His academic writing has been cited by the Federal Court of Australia.
Rahul holds a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (First Class) from the University of Sydney, where he graduated first place in his law cohort and ranked first in four subjects (Equity, Corporations Law, Evidence and Ethics). He subsequently read for the BCL at Christ Church, University of Oxford, and received the subject prize for Competition Law.
