Position
Since completing pupillage in Chambers in October 2019, Tom has developed a high-level, complex practice spanning the full breadth of commercial chancery work. In particular, Tom has experience in:

Property, including real property and both commercial and residential landlord and tenant

Private client work, including trusts, probate and Inheritance Act claims

In addition to drafting and advisory services, Tom appears regularly in the High Court (particularly the Business and Property Courts), County Courts across the country and tribunals, both as sole and junior counsel. Tom also has experience of acting in commercial arbitration under the ICC and LCIA rules, as well as in mediations and other forms of ADR.
Between 2022 and 2025, Tom was admitted to the Bar of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court (British Virgin Islands) where he advised on, assisted with and appeared in cases in the BVI Court of Appeal and High Court.
Tom is the author of a short book on the developing tort of visual intrusion, published in 2024 with Law Brief Publishers.
Tom has also completed a number of secondments with law firms, both in the UK and the BVI, and the Financial Conduct Authority. Tom accepts direct access work.
