He has acted as leading counsel for both the defence and the prosecution in some of the most serious and complex criminal cases in the UK.

In relation to serious crime, he has represented clients in high stakes matters involving murder, attempted murder, large-scale drug conspiracies, rape, firearms offences and kidnapping. His ability to distil complex evidence and deliver compelling courtroom advocacy has earned him a strong reputation among clients and peers alike.

With extensive experience in fraud & financial crime he has been instructed on high-value matters by corporates, individuals and government agencies. Christopher regularly acts in cases involving multi-million-pound VAT fraud, money laundering, corruption and trading offences. He has significant expertise in tax disputes, having appeared in numerous Tax Tribunals and the Court of Appeal as leading counsel in multi-million-pound tax appeals. His depth of experience in financial and economic crime underpins his strategic approach to each case.

Christopher has appeared in several high-profile health and safety prosecutions involving major organisations, including John Mowlem, Bison Structures, Balfour Beatty, Ipswich Docks, Carillion and the Thames Tunnels Project. He is available to advise on regulatory compliance, investigation response, and litigation strategy, bringing practical insight and authoritative guidance to complex regulatory challenges.
