He has extensive experience prosecuting and defending a wide range of criminal cases, including serious violence, murder, blackmail, sexual offences, large-scale drug conspiracies, kidnap, child cruelty and armed robbery.

In financial crime, Daniel regularly represents individuals, corporations, and government bodies such as the SFO, HMRC, FCA, and CMA. His work includes high-profile cases involving bribery and corruption, money laundering, and fraud, at all stages from investigations to trial. Notable cases include defending an accountant accused of defrauding a former England manager, and representing a co-accused in a multi-million-pound housing benefit fraud case involving several local authorities. These complex matters often have parallel civil proceedings, sometimes involving the High Court.

Prior to joining the Bar, Daniel was a founding partner at a prominent London criminal law firm.
