Career

Before coming to the Bar, Lucy qualified as a solicitor at Freshfields, where she practised as an Associate in the Dispute Resolution Team. She brings a modern, practical and team-oriented approach to her work as a result.

She also previously worked as an Adviser in the UK Government where she advised on public law, data policy and the negotiation of the UKʼs international trade agreements. In addition, she previously held the position of Judicial Assistant to Lord Justice Singh in his capacity as a Lord Justice of Appeal and President of the Investigatory Powers Tribunal.
