Position
Jodie has been recognised by Legal 500 (2025) to be ‘a go-to junior barrister’; her level of experience being extensive for her year of call.
Her practice encompasses a mixture of insolvency and general commercial litigation work, including professional negligence litigation. She has a particular interest in company and shareholder disputes, and is frequently instructed in high-value Companies Act claims (both in her own right, and as led work).
Alongside Court work, Jodie enjoys a busy advisory and drafting practice; and often works with clients from the pre-action stage through to completion of the litigation, whether that be by way of settlement or trial. She is regularly instructed to advise upon, draft and attend procedural applications, including urgent and without notice applications for injunctive relief.
Jodie has been recognised by Legal 500 as a Rising Star in the field of Company and Insolvency law. She easily builds a good rapport with clients; with her client care skills having been described as ‘excellent’ (Legal 500, 2025). Jodie is known for being ‘formidable in court’; ‘technically strong’ and for her ability to ‘get to grips with complex matters quickly’
(Legal 500, 2025).
