Sophie is a criminal defence specialist with a busy crown court practice. She has experience defending in cases involving all types of allegations including fraud, sexual offences, serious violence, drugs, public order  and driving offences.

Sophie is a committed and passionate advocate, with a dedicated approach to client care and a meticulous approach to case preparation.

She has a particular interest in cases involving serious violence as well as sexual offences across the spectrum. A recent case in which she was led involved historic sexual offences. The defendant was acquitted.

Sophie also appears in the Youth Court for cases involving serious offences. In addition, she has experience in the civil jurisdiction of the criminal courts.

Sophie acts in a range of matters as a led junior and junior alone.
