Position
Lucy became a tenant of Exchange Chambers in October 2025 after the successful completion of her Pupillage under the supervision of Peter Killen.
Lucy has a busy and varied criminal practice. She is regularly instructed to prosecute and defend all manner of Crown Court hearings including:

Lucy has also assisted senior counsel in serious RASSO cases, drugs and firearms conspiracies and has undertaken her own work in the Magistrates and Youth Court.
Lucy is known for her meticulous preparation, critical analysis of evidence and client care, particularly when working with vulnerable clients and in sensitive matters. She has a calm and measured approach to cases and maintains effective communication with both lay and professional clients.
Prior to joining Exchange, Lucy worked as a personal injury paralegal and Bar-specialist careers adviser. She is passionate about making the Bar more accessible and continues to mentor students from non-traditional backgrounds.

Outside of work, Lucy is an avid tennis player and runner, running the London Marathon in April 2024 for charity. Lucy also enjoys an occasional trip to the cinema, particularly when watching a good horror film.
