Position

Jordan commenced a criminal pupillage in March 2023 under the supervision of Alex Menary.

Prior to obtaining pupillage at Exchange, Jordan worked as a county court advocate for one of the largest multi-national advocacy providers. His work generally involved appearing before District Judges in the county court for hearings such as small claims trial, mortgage and tenancy possession claims, interlocutory applications, CMCs and CCMs as well as approval hearings.

Jordan comes to Exchange with significant advocacy experience having appeared in hundreds of hearings. He believes that this will assist him greatly in his career at the Bar.

During his pupillage Jordan assisted his supervisor in one of the largest drugs conspiracies ever prosecuted, affording him the opportunity to observe highly experienced counsel in a complex and serious criminal trial.

Jordan also has regulatory experience having worked as a claims handler at Yorkshire Water. Working alongside the litigation department allowed him to gain a deeper understanding of regulatory frameworks and also litigation more generally.

During the bar course, Jordan excelled at mooting and advocacy competitions He won numerous local competitions before going on to win the final of the BPP National Mooting Competition which was held in the Royal Courts of Justice in London.
