Joel was called to the Bar in 2018, and became a tenant of Exchange Chambers in September 2019 following the successful completion of his pupillage under Richard Tetlow.

Joel practises exclusively in insolvency, where he predominantly represents Insolvency Practitioners and Litigation Funders.

Joel is based in the Tyne & Wear area, but practises nationally.
