Career
Nimrah welcomes instructions to prosecute and defend within all areas of criminal practice in the Magistrates’, Youth and Crown Courts.
Before pupillage, Nimrah worked at multiple London-based law centres, where she assisted in discrimination matters and prepared asylum claims for final appeal. Nimrah has also supported legal clinics in Central America and served as a Legal Research Panellist at the UN Refugee Agency, producing reports on honour-based violence and sexual exploitation.
Nimrah read Law at Cambridge University and completed a Master of Laws at the London School of Economics, where she graduated with Distinction and the highest mark in Financial Crime. In the Bar Course, Nimrah received several academic prizes, including the Derek Wood CBE KC Award for best overall performance. During this time, Nimrah volunteered with Advocate and the Intervene Project.
