Position

Emily Woodside is a barrister in 23ES’ Crime team. Emily is instructed for both the prosecution and defence in cases at the Crown Court, in a wide range of matters including drugs supply, violent and sexual offences, Public Order Act offences, and confiscation proceedings.

Before joining Chambers Emily interned for the Specialist Prosecutor’s Office at the Kosovo Specialist Chambers in the Hauge. Whilst there she was involved in the prosecution of the former President of Kosovo, and other senior government officials, for war crimes and crimes against humanity. Emily has also worked as a legal researcher for a safeguarding company.
