During his pupillage, Elliott focused on Chambers’ health services and was supervised by Eliot Woolf KC, Ben Bradley KC and William Young. Elliott also gained experience in employment law and was supervised by Naomi Ling.
Elliott is developing a broad practice across Chambers’ specialisms, with a particular focus on clinical negligence, personal injury, industrial disease, travel law, inquests and Court of Protection work.
As well as his court work, Elliott has a growing paperwork practice including advices, drafting pleadings and schedules of loss.
Before qualifying as a GP, Elliott spent six years as a junior doctor gaining a broad range of experience in both primary and secondary care, and has significant experience of both Acute Medicine and Emergency Medicine. He has an extremely good understanding of the NHS and primary care systems. He continued to work as a GP while studying for the GDL (Distinction) and the Bar course (Distinction). During his time as a GP, Elliott was involved in teaching and co-authored a book aimed at helping those prepare for the GP application process.
