Career

Charlotte is a barrister with a busy practice in employment law and discrimination law. She complements her employment and discrimination law practice with other services across Chambers’ specialisms including inquests, personal injury, clinical negligence and public law.

Charlotte’s employment practice spans the full range of employment and discrimination matters in the employment tribunal and county courts. She is regularly instructed in the employment tribunal for both claimants and respondents across a wide range of claims, not limited to but, including worker status; unfair dismissal; whistleblowing; disability, race and gender reassignment discrimination and equal pay.

Charlotte has also had extensive training in and accepts instructions in personal injury and clinical negligence. Charlotte holds a particular interest in inquests and inquiries, particularly where deaths or serious incidents arise out of workplace conditions, or public authority and medical body failures.

Charlotte is also developing a practice in public law. Prior to pupillage, she worked as a public law researcher to senior barristers specialising in public and administrative law.
