Chris is a Partner in the Sussex Corporate team, advising clients across the South East and beyond. With extensive experience in a variety of corporate transactions, he has successfully supported clients on numerous high-value matters.

Chris works with businesses from their early stages, providing guidance on funding and investment, and continues to support them through significant milestones such as business sales and acquisitions. He is involved in guiding clients through every stage of these transactions ensuring that all legal and aspects are carefully addressed to achieve the best possible outcome. Additionally, he offers expertise in commercial property matters, including lease agreements and other property-related transactions.

While based primarily in our Brighton office, Chris also collaborates closely with colleagues across our other locations to deliver comprehensive, seamless service to clients. Work highlights Advising CP Cases on its majority sale to Swedish firm Lagercrantz.

Advising on the capital reduction demerge and associated group restructuring, ensuring effective division of trading and investment are of the business.

Advised JS Air Curtains Limited on its management buyout of the air curtains business previously run by Condair Limited.

Acting for a Sussex based company to establish an Employee Ownership Trust and deal with the sale of exiting shareholders’ interests to the trust.
