Position
Gideon has a busy practice spanning all areas of Chambers’ work. He was extensive experience in clinical negligence and personal injury, public and human rights law, inquests and public inquiries, and tax.
His experience in clinical negligence claims covers a broad spectrum of medical practice, including healthcare in the community, and in NHS and private hospitals. He has experience in high-value claims, complex causation arguments, secondary victim claims, issues of informed consent and Fatal Accidents Act claims.
Gideon regularly represents bereaved families, doctors, government departments and other interested persons at inquests. He has extensive and broad experience covering inquests dealing with medical care, deaths in custody and following police contact, mental health issues and road traffic deaths.

Before coming to the Bar, Gideon obtained a First Class degree from Cambridge University where he read History, and a distinction on the GDL.
