Turning to the juniors, Greg Williams is 'a class act'; he was recently led by Horton KC in an appeal before the Supreme Court, Unger and another (in substitution for Hasan) v Ul-Hasan (deceased and another), which involved the issue of whether a financial remedy claim arising from divorce can be pursued after the death of one of the parties, or whether the claim would end with the death due to it being personal to the individual party. The Supreme Court upheld the orthodox view that a claim cannot be pursued after the death of one of the parties.Rising stars
