Position
Amy’s hard work, understanding of the law and measured approach has earned her numerous plaudits from clients and solicitors. Her client care is widely recognised; particularly her extensive experience representing young and vulnerable clients charged with serious crimes.
She is a passionate, committed advocate, with an outstanding court advocacy with a reputation for being versatile in her approach. Her clear, focused advice and persuasive trial advocacy means she is regularly instructed as sole counsel across a range of allegations, including fraud, violence, drugs, and sexual offences.
As a led junior Amy, represented a client accused of over 20 counts of sexual offences of a minor, including rape of family members, in a 4-week trial. Amy has also been led in a multi-handed a confiscation trial at the Royal Courts of Justice following convictions for fraud offences totalling £60 million with evidence from live witnesses, experts and defendants being considered.
Amy has a particular interest in working with young or otherwise particularly vulnerable witnesses and defendants in the criminal justice system. She has represented youths accused of a range of offences including robbery, drug supply and violent offences. Amy has on several occasions persuaded the CPS to discontinue criminal proceedings against youth defendants charged with serious offences by means of early and robust written representations.
She is also is a registered Case Presenter. Amy has extensive experience in interim order hearings, and multi-day substantive hearings in cases involving clinical misconduct, serious dishonesty and sexual misconduct. She provides advice at every stage of the legal process, including the investigation stage, interim order hearings, substantive hearings, registration appeals and substantive order reviews.
As a Case Presenter, Amy prepares and presents cases before NMC disciplinary committees. She has developed a strong understanding of regulatory law, practise and procedure, as well as sound knowledge of the rules of evidence.

Having sat as a Disciplinary Panel Member for the London FA, Amy was appointed to be a Regional FA Disciplinary Panel Member. Amy forms part of a panel that adjudicates on disciplinary matters for County Football Associations arising from FA regulated football matches in accordance with FA Disciplinary Regulations. The hearings involve misconduct charges where an incident is reported which does not fall under standard (red card) dismissal offences, or it is a serious offence involving allegations relating to on and off-field conduct.
Member of the Swim England Judicial Panel – August 2024 - ongoingAmy is an appointed member of the Swim England Judicial Panel. She forms part of a panel that adjudicates on alleged misconduct, maladministration or a breach of Swim England’s Regulations.
Member of The Sport Resolutions Pro Bono Legal Advice Panel - July 2024 - ongoingAmy provides summary advice and representation in relation to athlete eligibility, selection, disciplinary, anti-doping and classification matters as part of the Pro Bono Legal Advice Panel. The individuals are either involved in UK Sport funded high performance sport, and request assistance from the Panel through the British Athletes Commission, or; are involved in proceedings administered by Sport Resolutions (UK).

In this capacity, Amy is part of a Register of individuals appointed by Paddle UK to assist with, and adjudicate on following policy areas of Paddle UK:
