Radha Bhatt

Position

Radha has significant experience of media, information and privacy litigation. She also regularly provides pre-publication legal and regulatory advice in relation to print and broadcast media.

Radha has experience in a range of public law matters spanning police and prison law, inquests and inquiries, education and equality law.

Career

Radha holds a First in History from Cambridge, where she was elected a King’s Scholar for outstanding academic achievement and received the Cambridge University Not-for-Profit Award.

Radha subsequently obtained a Distinction in her Graduate Diploma in Law and studied for the Bar Course with the assistance of several scholarships including Lord Denning and Residential Scholarships from Lincoln’s Inn and an academic scholarship from City Law School.

Immediately before undertaking her traineeship, Radha was awarded a Thouron Fellowship to study for a (fully funded) LLM at UPenn, where she specialised in media law (including the law of the First Amendment, defamation and privacy) and constitutional law. Radha took additional courses in internet law, privacy and cybersecurity at the Wharton School of Business (GPA 4.0).
