Kate is, quite simply, a brilliant junior. She is wonderful to work with (with a great sense of humour), utterly dedicated, fearsomely bright, and has that capacity to identify, interpret, and deploy information with incredible speed and accuracy that marks out the very best of the bar. Judges plainly appreciated her intelligence, manner, and engaging yet unembellished presentation; I would have no qualms putting Kate up against any silk.
