Position
Kinza Wahid enjoys a successful practice across the full range of property law, including matters that cross over into traditional chancery areas such as Trusts of Land.
Regularly acting for private individuals, companies, institutional investors and local authorities, Kinza brings a well-rounded skill set to her practice, ensuring thorough and effective representation for her clients.
Listed as a "Rising Star" barrister by Legal 500 in 2026, Kinza is a skilled advocate and an accredited mediator, who is known for her robust and tenacious advocacy and empathetic approach with clients.
In the landlord and tenant sphere, Kinza regularly handles both commercial and residential matters including possession actions, forfeiture, injunctions and disrepair.
In the more traditional land and chancery areas, Kinza has experience in trespass, easements, nuisance, right of way, boundary issues, TOLATA and cohabitation disputes.
Whilst Kinza’s practice is predominantly property, she also enjoys a discrete practice in commercial law. Often instructed in contract disputes, specifically those involving equine matters. She accepts instructions in partnerships disputes and misrepresentation. She appears in the High Court (Rolls Building) to present winding-up petitions and deals with bankruptcy proceedings.
Beyond practice, Kinza is committed to advancing equality and diversity at the Bar. She sits on the EDSM Midland Circuit Committee and is often a panellist at events designed to encourage inclusivity within the profession.
Residential Landlord and Tenant and Housing
Kinza Wahid is routinely instructed on private and social housing possession claims. Her expertise includes securing possession orders, injunctions and various other orders. She is frequently instructed by local authorities and housing associations at an early stage to assist on drafting pleadings and providing written advice. Appearing in fast track and multi-track trials for injunctions and other tenancy related matters. She is highly skilled in defending cases which raise Public Law and Equality Act arguments.

Commercial Landlord and Tenant
Kinza Wahid is regularly instructed in commercial landlord and tenant disputes. She provides advice and representation in matters relating to possession and forfeiture, including claims for relief from forfeiture, as well as injunctions, lease renewals and service charge disputes.
She has experience in the County Court, High Court and First-tier Tribunal (Property Chamber for such matters.
Coownership and Trusts of Land
Kinza Wahid has experience in advising and representing clients in co-ownership and TOLATA disputes well beyond her year of call.
Kinza is adept at dealing with matters pertaining to proprietary estoppel, rectifying or altering the Register, constructive trusts and 3rd party interests and intervenor claims.
She has recently successfully established her client’s beneficial interest in co-owned property and dismissed allegations of fraud and forgery in a prolonged multi-track trial.

Kinza Wahid has handled a wide range of land and boundary disputes, including those involving easements, lost modern grant and prescription, interpretation of restrictive covenants in title deeds, trespass and nuisance. She also accepts instructions involving agricultural tenancies.
Kinza adopts a pragmatic approach when dealing with real property matters and has successfully advocated for clients in mediation, achieving their objectives in a boundary dispute without embarking upon litigation.
