Position

Emma accepts instructions in all areas of property and estate claims.

Emma’s practice spans the full range of property and estates disputes, with a particular interest in Real Property and Probate and Inheritance Act disputes.  She is also experienced in Landlord and Tenant matters, including disrepair claims and possession proceedings.  Emma is developing a Court of Protection practice with a natural focus on property and financial affairs.

Emma is a First-Class graduate and was called to the bar in 2022 having obtained a distinction in her BTC qualification.  She joined 3PB in October 2023 following successful completion of her pupillage with chambers.  Since then, she has developed significant experience as a trial advocate and has appeared in numerous multi-day final hearings.  Emma also takes particular satisfaction in advisory and drafting work and she enjoys analysing complex legal issues and providing well-reasoned practical advice.

  • Property and Estates

  • Emma is a barrister practicing across the full spectrum of property and estates litigation.  Emma accepts instructions in both the County Court and First Tier Tribunal (Property Chamber).

    Emma has a keen interest in probate related matters, including disputes between executors, administrators and will validity claims.

    Emma welcomes instructions in all aspects of property litigation including landlord and tenant work, co-ownership and trusts of land, boundaries, nuisance, and adverse possession.  Most recently she has dealt with matters arising from:

    • Nuisance

    • Trespass

    • Easements

    • Possession proceedings

    • Disrepair

    As well as being an experienced trial advocate, Emma takes particular satisfaction in cases involving detailed legal analysis and takes pride in producing clear written advice and pleadings.

  • Court of Protection

  • Emma welcomes instructions in Court or Protection matters, particularly those concerning property and financial affairs.
