Sharad Buddhdev is a member of the Business Defence team at Cartwright King, specialising in fraud, tax and account freezing orders (AFOs). He also represents clients bringing private prosecutions and appearing before tax tribunals.

Sharad joined Cartwright King in 2018 after ten years as a lawyer and head of Crown Court at one of the largest criminal practices in South Wales.

Alongside his business defence work, Sharad has extensive experience in general crime, including murder, firearms, drugs, sexual and violent offences. He is an Accredited Police Station Representative (APSR), which allows him to represent clients interviewed under caution anywhere in the country.

Sharad has built a wide network of experts he can call on, including forensic accountants, forensic scientists, pathologists and medical experts. He gives every client the same standard of service, whether their matter is legally aided or privately funded.
