Scott is a UK Chartered Trade Mark Attorney based in J A Kemp’s Oxford office. He joined the firm in 2014, qualified after training with the firm, and re-joined in 2021 following a period of practice in the Middle East. He became a partner in 2026.

With over 10 years’ experience in intellectual property law, Scott advises clients on all aspects of trade mark clearance, filing, prosecution and enforcement. He is experienced in handling oppositions, cancellations and infringement proceedings, and is known for delivering clear, commercially focused advice.

Scott’s international outlook—shaped by his time practising in both the UK and the Middle East—is particularly valuable to clients managing global portfolios or involved in multi-jurisdictional disputes.

He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys and the INTA Young Practitioners Committee, and regularly attends trade mark conferences in the UK and overseas.
