James Gavin represents banks, private credit providers and other financial institutions in a broad range of commercial lending transactions. His practice focuses on structuring, negotiating and documenting secured and unsecured credit facilities across a variety of industries, including acquisition financings, syndicated and bilateral credit facilities, asset-based lending, real estate financing and other complex financing transactions.

James also advises clients on the formation, organization and ongoing compliance of private equity funds in Puerto Rico. His experience includes counseling funds on governance, regulatory compliance and operation matters, providing practical guidance on the legal and regulatory issues affecting private equity funds in Puerto Rico.
