Principal Associate

Julien Labory-Alicq is a principal associate specialising in banking, finance, and energy, with particular involvement in project finance related to the energy and natural resources sectors. His practice also includes mergers and acquisitions of energy companies and the development of energy projects, combining strategic sector insight with strong transactional expertise.

He advises financial institutions, multilateral banks, investment funds, and corporations on structuring complex transactions, including project finance, structured and secured finance, cross-border syndicated loans, corporate finance, and capital markets issuances.

Julien has developed his career at leading international law firms in Europe and has direct experience within the banking sector, including a secondment to the derivatives desk of a prominent French investment bank. He also has significant experience in the Peruvian market, enabling him to combine a thorough understanding of local regulatory and market dynamics with international investors' expectations and standards.
