Anders Julius Tengvad specialises in dispute resolution as well as the law of damages and insurance law. Anders has a right of audience before the Danish Supreme Court and assisted clients in major lawsuits, such as lawsuits involving Roskilde Bank, BIOS and Johan Schlüter Law Firm.

He is also a certified arbitrator and has long-standing experience in conducting international arbitration proceedings under the auspices of various arbitration institutes. Anders has been involved in resolving several disputes before arbitration tribunals and the Danish courts, in particular concerning contractual and non-contractual damages, such as disputes relating to breach of contract, professional liability, management liability and product liability. In recent years, Anders has handled an increasing number of arbitration disputes arisen following M&A transactions.

Within the field of insurance law, he advises insurance companies and businesses on all coverage issues relating to i.a., management liability insurance, crime insurance, cyber insurance, commercial and product liability insurance as well as buildings and contents insurance. In that connection, Anders has assisted in resolving a large number of disputes.

Anders is co-founder of Young Arbitration Copenhagen (YAC), the Danish “under forties” arbitration association.

He is also a professional board member and Chairman of i.a., the Executive Committee of the Danish foundation Hørslev Fonden & Arkitekt Anton Frederiksen og Hustrus Familielegat.
