Santiago Álvarez specializes in Tax Law and supports the firm in advice to both its domestic and foreign clients.

He assists the team in business and corporate structuring, as well as regulatory compliance under Chilean legislation. He also supports in the firm’s representation of taxpayers before tax authorities, which encompasses drafting administrative claims and appeals, managing audit and review processes, negotiating with the Chilean Internal Revenue Service, and assessing potential penalties. Additionally, he participates in the development of preventive strategies to mitigate tax risks and reinforce the position of the firm’s clients.
