Belén is an associate and focuses her practice on labor claims. She started her professional career by working successively in a well-known local firm in Buenos Aires, where she worked with insurance companies on workers' compensation claims and other matters.​

Some of her previous experiences includes achieving favorable settlements in over 30 high-value judicial workers' compensation cases for an insurance carrier, through strategic motion practice and settlements that limited total payouts to under 60% of demanded amounts, preserving client reserves. Belén led the defense of a workers' comp carrier in complex judicial litigation setting favorable precedents for ongoing litigation.​

Prior to joining DLA Piper, Belén worked in a local firm on workers' compensation claims and other matters regarding insurance companies.
