Career

Alejandro Noblía graduated from the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences at the University of Buenos Aires (1995). He also completed postgraduate studies at George Washington University and a master's degree in law at Southern Methodist University School of Law (LL.M., 1998). In 1999, he completed a postgraduate degree in Securities and in 2000 a postgraduate degree in Oil and Gas, both at the Catholic University of Argentina. ​

Alejandro has participated in more than 150 structured finance transactions, securitizations, securities offerings, and restructurings in recent years, including provincial and international corporate transactions with guarantees. He specializes in the areas of capital markets, corporate law, and energy. ​

He has advised, among others, on the following transactions: (i) project bonds and related financing and acquisitions by Stoneway Capital for more than US$1.1 billion; (ii) Banco Supervielle and Grupo Supervielle in the creation of debt programs under which multiple series of negotiable obligations have been issued; (iii) exchange of Edenor negotiable obligations issued under Rule 144A/Reg. S in the international and local markets in order to comply with the regulations of the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic, (iv) restructuring of Vicentín's debt in the amount of approximately US$ 1.5 billion, (v) restructuring of TGN's debt for USD 350 million, (vi) restructuring of the Province of Jujuy's international debt for USD 210 million, and (vii) debt restructurings for Hidroeléctrica Piedra del Águila and Central Puerto. ​

He is a lawyer for First Trust and US Bank, one of the world's leading banks in the field of debt issuance with trusts.
