Alberto Rubio, partner at DLA Piper Argentina, has extensive experience advising local and international clients across a wide range of sectors and industries. He is an expert in labor law, litigation, consumer protection, bankruptcy, and restructuring, and has participated in some of the most notable debt restructurings and insolvency proceedings in Argentina. ​

In addition to his litigation work, he also has significant experience in non-contentious matters, advising clients on all aspects of employment law, including general labor issues, workforce restructurings, social security matters, strategic planning, collective bargaining, and negotiations with unions and government authorities.​

He represents clients before all levels of the judiciary and has substantial experience representing companies before the Ministry of Labor. He has also led compliance matters and internal investigations for major clients in Argentina. ​

Rubio regularly engages with legal professionals, academics, and members of the judiciary to stay up to date on legal developments and emerging precedents in his areas of expertise. ​

He has completed postgraduate studies in his fields of specialization, speaks at legal conferences, and is a member of the Bar Association of the City of Buenos Aires and of the Province of Santa Fe. He currently serves as head of the Litigation and Labor Law Department at DLA Piper Argentina.
