Position

Melissa Mallon is an associate in the Middle East Construction and Dispute Resolution practice. Melissa has experience working on a range of contentious and non-contentious construction matters, including assisting clients with negotiating and drafting contracts, as well as advising clients on claims relating to defective design and/or workmanship, delay and disruption, loss and expense, payment disputes, service level performance obligations and contract interpretation. Her experience spans a range of different sectors including construction, infrastructure and utilities. Melissa has represented clients under all the major arbitration rules including the DIFC-LCIA, DIAC and UNCITRAL, and ad hoc arbitrations.

Prior to joining Dentons, Melissa worked as a paralegal at a regional law firm in Dubai where she gained valuable legal skills and knowledge in both construction and infrastructure, and international arbitration practices.
