Position

Hamad Yasin is an associate in the Middle East Construction and Dispute Resolution practice. He has experience working on a range of contentious and non-contentious construction matters, including assisting clients with arbitrations under the DIAC rules with negotiating and drafting FIDIC-based contracts for procurement projects and client-specific development projects. His experience spans a range of different sectors including construction and energy.

Before qualifying, Hamad worked with the Corporate Commercial and Banking & Finance practices where he gained valuable experience assisting with M&A due diligence, commercial legal advice and liaising with various local authorities on an Emirate level as well as UAE federal level regarding a variety of commercial matters. Hamad was also involved in assisting complex Islamic finance and sukuk issuance deals with the Banking and Debt Capital Markets teams.

Hamad is bilingual and has the ability to draft and negotiate in Arabic and English.
