Corporate M&A

Junyi Bai is a partner in Dentons’ Milan office, Head of Italy-China Collaboration Group and a member of the global Corporate M&A practice.

His practice focuses on Italian corporate and commercial law, mergers and acquisitions, foreign direct investments, as well as on the legal system of the People's Republic of China.

Junyi provides clients, including listed and/or state-owned companies, with legal advice on cross-border M&A transactions.

In particular, Junyi has assisted leading financial, industrial and institutional entities in their investments in Italy or China, with support in structuring the transaction, conducting due diligence, setting up joint ventures or special purpose vehicles (also in different jurisdictions) and drafting the relevant bundle of contracts.

In addition, Junyi has assisted multinationals in distressed M&A and out-of-court restructuring projects.

Junyi is Adjunct Professor of China Business Law at Rome University of International Studies – UNINT – Faculty of Economics. He also taught Chinese law, international sales law and Chinese business practices at Roma Tre University (2011), LUISS Business School (2011), La Sapienza University (2012) and Milan Cattolica University (2018).
