Career

Gabriel Solís is a partner at Dentons Paz Horowitz with more than 15 years of experience in corporate law, banking, infrastructure, public-private partnerships (PPPs), strategic alliances and arbitration. His practice focuses on advising national and international clients on complex infrastructure and financing projects, corporate transactions and regulatory matters within highly regulated industries. He also has significant public sector experience, having served as Director of Corporate Affairs and National Legal Superintendent at the Superintendency of Banks of Ecuador.

Gabriel regularly advises clients on concession agreements, project financing, mergers and acquisitions, securities issuances and financial regulatory matters. His experience includes advising on road concession projects in Ecuador and Colombia, restoring the economic balance of concession contracts and structuring large-scale infrastructure transactions. He has also advised financial institutions on operational authorizations and corporate transformations, as well as multinational companies on complex corporate and banking matters. In addition, he has experience in fintech and capital markets, including advising on revolving bond issuance programs through international stock exchanges. Gabriel has been recognized by Chambers and Partners as an “Up and Coming” practitioner and by The Legal 500 in its GC Powerlist Ecuador.
