Claire heads the global Insurance Sector at DWF, the firm's largest sector.

Throughout her career Claire has acted for major worldwide insurers, large insureds and Lloyd's Syndicates across a wide spectrum of claims, and is Client Partner for one of the firm's largest clients.

Claire set up and heads DWF's renowned International Claims Team and acts for numerous major UK and worldwide insurers in large loss and international cases. She is regularly instructed in some of the largest and highest profile complex cross-border claims in the London Market, as well as for insurance companies and corporate clients all over the world. Claire particularly enjoys working closely with insureds to guide them through the complexities of cases, often with high media interest, and working to reach solutions for all parties involved in a commercial and timely manner.

Claire has featured in The Financial Times and regularly appears in legal and insurance industry press. She is a regular commentator on gender diversity and sits on the Committee of I-Win, which promotes and supports female talent across the insurance industry.

In 2016 Claire was proud to be elected to DWF's Strategic Board, the first time a woman had been elected to DWF's main Board. Claire has long been recognised for her expertise, her contribution to the City and for championing the progress of women. She is commended as a leading Insurance lawyer in the major legal directories, and as Head of the Insurance Sector her passion is working with many partners across DWF's business to coordinate a strong multi-disciplinary approach to help clients navigate the complexities and ever-changing legal landscape of the insurance sector.
