A successful and well-respected litigator, I have vast experience in disease claims. I specialise in providing advice and support to employers about public liability claims as well as regulatory issues of a sensitive and strategic nature to business.

Rob has 20 years' experience in all areas of employer's liability work both criminal and civil acting predominantly for defendants.

His notable cases include:

Swansborough v Parry involving the liability of a motorist to an infant pedestrian for negligent parking. Irvine v Commissioner of the Police for the Metropolis where the application of The Workplace Regulations was considered. He was part of the team on the IEGL v Zurich Insurance case where the liability of an insurer to a solvent insured was considered in a mesothelioma claim where the Compensation Act 2006 was found not to apply. He successfully defended a lifeguard prosecuted under The Health and Safety at Work Act following the death of a disabled swimmer.
