Matteo Cerretti is Head of the Insurance practice in Italy and Insurance Commercial Director EMEA. He has extensive experience in insurance law, both in litigation and non-contentious matters.

His expertise covers regulatory aspects, legal opinions on various insurance topics—particularly financial lines (D&O, PI, W&I, etc.)—relations with IVASS, drafting of policy wordings, and advising foreign insurance companies intending to operate in Italy.

Matteo has assisted numerous Lloyd’s market Syndicates, major national and international insurance and reinsurance companies, and insurance intermediaries. He also has significant experience in corporate and contractual matters.
