Paolo is Managing Partner of the A&O Shearman Italian offices and a highly regarded corporate and M&A lawyer with extensive expertise in the private equity sector.

With almost 20 years in practice, he assists a broad range of Italian and international clients - including PE funds, RE funds, listed and unlisted companies - across the full spectrum of M&A transactions in a wide variety of industry sectors. He has significant experience in leading sophisticated, multi jurisdictional transactions, bringing a strong strategic perspective and a deep understanding of the commercial and regulatory drivers underlying complex deals.
