Shazia advises employers on a wide range of employment law matters, both contentious and non-contentious. She provides practical day-to-day HR support on issues such as grievances, disciplinary procedures, long-term sickness absence, and drafting employment contracts and workplace policies.

She has experience working with private sector organisations across industries, including food and drink, retail and banking, as well as public sector clients. Shazia represents clients in Employment Tribunal proceedings, offering clear, commercial and pragmatic advice in an approachable manner.

Her litigation experience includes handling claims involving unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing, breach of contract, and other employment-related disputes. Shazia has acted for a diverse range of employers from small businesses to large organisations and government departments, managing cases from ACAS Early Conciliation through to final hearings. She also advises on settlement negotiations and has appeared at preliminary and final hearings, advocating on behalf of clients during the early stages of litigation.
