Marija Marošan co-heads the Real Estate practice at CMS Belgrade and CMS Podgorica and has extensive experience (more than 10 years) in advising international companies in Serbia and in Montenegro on real estate law matters, such as property development, sales and acquisitions, leasing, construction (including zoning, permitting, FIDIC and other forms of construction contracts), conversion, etc.

She has extensive experience with renewable energy projects and has advised numerous clients regarding real estate and regulatory aspects of the construction and operation of renewable energy facilities.

Marija has provided legal support to pre-eminent clients on some of the largest and highly complex and sensitive real estate and energy projects in Serbia and in Montenegro, including both representation before the authorities and structuring of compound project documents, such as construction agreements, PPP contracts, acquisition agreements, forward purchase agreements, ESCO agreements, collateral documents, tender documents, EPC and PPA agreements.
