Senior Associate

Ernesto focuses his practice on infrastructure development and administrative law, with particular expertise in the structuring, implementation, and modification of public-private partnership (PPP) projects, including concessions, PPP agreements, and service contracts. He advises both public and private sector clients on identifying the most suitable contractual framework for project implementation, ensuring a balanced allocation of risks between the parties.

His work encompasses analyzing the applicable legal framework, preparing bidding and contractual documentation, securing the necessary authorizations for project tendering, and guiding clients throughout the contracting process up to the execution of the relevant agreement or concession.

Ernesto also has significant experience in the financing of infrastructure projects, providing legal support to assess compliance of project structures with applicable legislation and negotiating with financial institutions to secure favorable and flexible lending terms for borrowers. In addition, he has advised on the acquisition of infrastructure development companies, assisting in the negotiation of transaction terms and conditions.
