Position
Claire Vannini joined CMS Francis Lefebvre in 2002 and became a partner in 2015. She is a member of the firm's Advisory Board.
She practices in competition law, European law and regulation of network industries (postal services, transport, energy, electronic communications) with a focus on litigation at national and European level, handling anti-competitive practices and merger control cases under competition law.
She is highly experienced in issues related to the public sector and the operation of former national monopolies in the market (issues involving cartels, abuse of dominant position, state aid, devolution of public service missions, and exclusive rights), as well as in the area of state aid (advisory work, litigation at national and European levels, and assistance with notification procedures before the European Commission).
Claire Vannini also acts for institutions in proceedings before national public authorities or the European Commission relating to competition or material European Law issues (such as national laws transposing directives and infringements of the freedoms guaranteed by the Treaty).
