Michael focuses on the corporate, M&A and commercial practice areas. Michael has more than 12 years’ experience in advising foreign and foreign-invested companies on corporate law issues in China, in particular on share and asset transfers, restructurings, joint ventures, corporate governance and foreign direct investment.

His track record comprises numerous cross-border and domestic share and asset transfers, mergers, restructurings and corporate changes, the establishment of numerous foreign-invested entities, including joint venture and wholly foreign-owned entities, as well as advice, review and drafting of contracts and contract clauses in the commercial law area (e.g. plant contracts, delivery contracts and general terms and conditions, service contracts), and advice on product liability.
