Career
Djamila Pinto de Andrade joined PRIME Advogados, the exclusive member of VdA Legal Partners in Angola, in 2025 as a Partner.
She has been working on various operations related to government debt issuance, representing the Angolan state and the international financial organisations that finance public projects.
She advises on setting up and incorporating management companies and collective investment undertakings, specifically on the structuring and incorporation of securities and property investment companies and funds, as well as venture capital funds and companies. She also provides ongoing legal advice on regulatory matters in the area of banking and capital markets law.
She represents national and foreign investors in matters of corporate law, mergers and acquisitions and private investment (under both general and special regimes, including mining) and has advised clients in the energy, natural resources, consumer, and infrastructure sectors on major transnational transactions.
